Anthony Sakalarios is a founding partner of Morris, Sakalarios & Blackwell and has practiced law since 1978. As an innovative and tough advocate, he has enjoyed success in handling the most challenging cases and representing injured and otherwise wronged clients in the courtroom. Mr. Sakalarios' representation was instrumental in several high profile and complex cases against powerful interests of manufacturing, consumer finance, banking, and insurance companies. He has also represented individuals in the areas of family law, bankruptcy, real estate, consumer fraud and personal injury.
A determined and compassionate lawyer, Mr. Sakalarios prepares each case thoroughly and keeps clients informed on progress along the way. He understands his clients' concerns and genuinely cares about helping their situation. To that end, Mr. Sakalarios offers honest legal assessments and sets realistic expectations for every case.
Anthony Sakalarios received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1971 and his J.D. from the Jackson School of Law at Mississippi College in 1978. He is admitted to practice law in all state courts of Mississippi, as well as the Southern and Northern U.S. District Court, Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, and U.S. Tax Court. In addition, Mr. Sakalarios is active in professional associations including the Mississippi Bar Association, American Bar Association (ABA), Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA), Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA), South Central Mississippi Bar Association, Bar Association of the Fifth Circuit Court, University of Southern Mississippi Alumni Association and the Mississippi College School of Law Alumni Association.
In his free time, Mr. Sakalarios enjoys hunting and fishing. He is married and has two adult sons, who are attending Law School at the University of Mississippi.
